Boudoir Photography - My Story
This blog post has been a challenge for me as it is about myself, a photographer who is more comfortable behind the camera. However, I felt strongly about the boudoir and glamour work I do and wanted to experience what my clients go through during a shoot with me. So, I asked Jason, my assistant, and husband, to take some photos of me. The first thing that hit me was the physical effort required to hold certain poses - they were tougher than I expected! I now have a better understanding of what my clients go through, and I have to say, they are doing an amazing job during the shoot. I was also nervous about the shoot, thinking about my insecurities and imperfections. However, once we started, I was so focused on following Jason's direction that I forgot about my nerves and insecurities.
